Ella's Tubes

Ella went in early this morning for her tubes at Children's Healthcare by Scottish Rite. She did so good, I'm so proud of my little peanut! I just wanted to post a picture of her in her little hospital gown, even in that she's so beautiful! I do hope the tubes help and she doesn't have anymore pain. I really hate it when the babies aren't feeling so well! On that note, Ty's asthma has been under control (beware:pollen season ahead) and Ally's been seizure free since last July!!! Yay, I think we have finally found the right dose of medicine for her. Now the doctor just wants us to watch her weight and once she hits 50lbs. we will up her dose! All and all they are awesome and looking forward to our trip to sunny Florida for spring break. We will also get to spend a day at Busch Gardens they can't wait!

Maybe I should have put one of her super huge bows on her and then she wouldn't have looked like a little boy! LOL

She's such a trooper, I tell ya that whole procedure was pretty quick. They let me walk her back and sit until she was out. They then took us to the recovery room and within 10minutes (not even) the doctor came in to talk with us and 2minutes later they were wheeling her in. She was so precious. Ohhh... I could just squeeze her!

Tellus Museum

Well, I really thought I could keep up with this blog, but turns out I'm not so good at it now am I?!?! Ella will be going for her tubes tomorrow at Scottish Rite, her surgery time is scheduled for 7:30 which means we have to be there at 6:30 which means we have to leave the house by 5:30. Needless to say we will be going to bed very early tonight and thankfully Auntie Jenna will be staying with us to help with Tyler and Ally! Despite her sore ears, Ella is becoming very active. She's quite the mover and shaker! She's not quite mastered the whole rolling over, but soon very soon! She's eating cereal and loves it and is finally back to sleeping all night. I have a feeling the non-stop of antibiotics helps!

Tyler is in the full swing of baseball and we really enjoy it! He's playing many different positions. His team looks really good together! Other than baseball he's into riding that dirt bike and 4-wheeler of course! Ally is just her silly old self! She still hasn't decided if she wants to do a sport or activity, but we figure she'll decide one of these days! She just loves playing with her friends and her dolls!
We visited the new Tellus museum a few weeks back after one of Ty's games and we really enjoyed it. Granny & Papa went along for the adventure also. I'm really proud of good ole' C-ville for providing such a great museum! We had a great time!

My first post and I'm new at this!!

Welcome to our blog!!! Here it is a Friday, a beautiful 70 degree Friday at that!! I've finally put a blog together so friends and family can see what's going with our family. I'm new at this so please bear with me as I navigate through everything and learn the ropes! Here it is March already my how times flies. Ella is now 4 months old and such a joy to have. She's really starting to blossom with her smiles and laughs, it's so cute! Ally is now 7, yes she's 7 and such a little lady. Her and daddy had their first Father/Daughter dance last Saturday and they had a blast. She was quite the boogie queen as I'm told! She got a new dress and her hair done for the dance and was such a cutie! Tyler is 11 and into the baseball season. He's playing for the Kingston Bulls this year and David is helping coach. I believe we will be very busy with this as it's a traveling team. They both love it though. We recently got a new Canon camera and photo editing software for the computer. Once I get that squared away I'll download some pictures of the kids. If anyone has any suggestions for my blog feel free to clue me in!! Thanks!
